TESTIMONIES

BLOG

Find out what I’ve been up to recently in my new blog..

Updated: Jul 11, 2018

Well what few weeks it’s been. Firstly, lots of lovely new clients and exciting relationships forming. I love getting to know new people and their horses, and being able to get involved in their journey.

There have been no competitions yet for Stan and I after a few set backs, unfavourable ground conditions and untimely exams and weddings keeping me busy! However, he is (I think) enjoying his sessions on the water treadmill and still being thoroughly spoilt as per usual. Three year old Bobby is also coming along very nicely and is having a break during this sweltering weather.

I still got to attend my favourite event of the year Barbury International Horse Trials this time with Toby Pigott Eventing. In scorching heat he achieved some fantastic results on all of his horses, including a top 10 and a top 20 finish for the two first timers in the 2*. Then incredibly exciting to be apart of the Event Rider Masters 3* at Barbury where a great jumping effort landed them in 11th place with Golden Forever.

There have also been some fantastic results coming out the dressage yard I work with on a very regularly basis. Here I perform a lot of strength and conditioning exercises and therapeutic treatments including laser therapy and using the water treadmill, working with the wider support team of vets and other therapists.

Recent notable results include a Grand Prix Special win for Lara Butler out in Rotterdam riding Rubin Al Asda. Wins for both Laura Tomlinson and Lara at Hartpury Festival of Dressage with Fallatijn van Kairos and Kristjan respectively. Lara and Rufus next head out to contest in Aachen and I wish them both the very best of luck, then a busy week for the team as they soon after head to Hickstead International.

I love working with these top class horses at the elite end of the game and all the younger ones slowly progressing up behind them - superstars in their own right already being placed in the 4 and 5 year old classes. This team works so hard and it’s fantastic to see the progression of the horses and the results coming back.

And to round things, up I have several promising new avenues to pursue that means the future is looking bright! Watch this space!

All the best.
